Has Been Collective is the brainchild of Michael DeStasio, a retired (not really) professional snowboarder and skateboarder.

This phrase has been coined as an insult, that someone is washed up, and no longer at their prime.

If we’re lucky enough, we will all make it to the finish line as a “has been”—with our stories painted on us like tattoos. Our mission is to be a community for all, retired and current.

Your passions define your timeline, and the pursuit of chasing them is both fulfilling, rewarding, and everything in between. You must own your history, blood, sweat, and tears. Be proud of your past accomplishments and use them as inspiration for your future endeavors.
